The Board of the American International School of Conakry
The Board is composed of elected and appointed members, including six parents of AISC students and one representative from the American Embassy. All members are volunteers, bringing a diverse range of cultural backgrounds, skills, and experiences to the table.
The primary role of the Board is to support and advance the school’s mission, values, and goals. It is responsible for appointing and supporting the school’s Director, overseeing the financial stability of the school, and regularly reviewing and updating policies and procedures to ensure the continued success of the institution.
Operational and day-to-day decisions are delegated to the Director, who manages the school's daily activities.
